The Martha's Vineyard Festival, now in its second year, is growing, evolving - and involving the community more - in what is sure to become the newest entry on the Vineyard's summer must-go event calendar.
This year the day-long music festival will feature headliners the Boston Pops and Gladys Knight, along with the Neville Brothers, Steel Pulse, Kate Taylor, Willy Mason, Entrain and the Manami Morita Quartet in a fun, family-friendly celebration of music in one of the most iconic and scenic Vineyard locales.
Based in Oak Bluff's beautiful Ocean Park, the festival this year will expand to include food and merchandise vendors, an art show and a movie screening. The popular oceanside park will be transformed into a lovely, lively social setting with A-list national acts mixing it up with popular local musicians as the backdrop to your perfect day on Martha's Vineyard.
