Just not feeling the Christmas vibe? There are still a few more Holiday events to help put you in that Jingle Bell state of mind. Join the Christmas carolers on Friday at the Bunch of Grapes and lend your tenor (or alto or soprano) to Christmas favorites, serenading shoppers on Main Street. Wassailing anyone?
For a feel-good family Holiday story, check out The Homecoming at the Vineyard Playhouse on Friday or Saturday evening. Nothing depressing about this depression era family tale that spawned tv's the Waltons.
Or bundle up and jump on board for an old-fashioned horse and buggy ride, complete with jingle bells. Rides leave from the Tisbury Market Place or Bowl and Board on Saturday from 11-2 and it's free!
Support artists, either local or in third world countries, by visiting Featherstone's Holiday Sale or the PeaceCraft store below the Belushi-Pisano Gallelry. Both are open through the weekend.
Still feeling like Scrooge? Why not rent a Holiday classic and curl up on the couch with a pitcher of spiked egg nog. Or, as a last resort, buy yourself an extravagant Christmas gift and wrap it up, then open it immediately and remind yourself that you really deserve it. You do!
