The Vineyard saw more than its usual share of celebs this week, as the likes of K-Fed and Ali G. were seen partying with the original "rock stars" Barney, Fred and Wilma.
Halloween parties raged from one end of Circuit Ave to the other as Balance, the Ritz, Seasons, Sharkeys and the Oyster Bar played host to goblins, ghouls, mythical and fairy tale creatures, SNL characters and plenty of sexy nurses, police officers, etc. But the event of the evening went down at the airport, as Outerland continued the longstanding Hot Tin Roof tradition of hosting the mother of all Halloween Parties.
Popular 80s cover band the Boogies went way beyond their usual freak show, opening their disco-heavy set with an actual freak show that featured a bearded lady, a makeshift midget and giant and lots of other sideshow attractions.
The human cannonball blasted into the arms of the strong man and the party began as the band broke into Kool and the Gang's Celebration. A celebration it was, as the Vineyard threw down for one last blow-out before settling into the rhythm of another island winter.
Outerland will stay open year-round for the first time this year, so be sure to check out their calendar for lots of creative events and local music nights.
