For an island, Martha's Vineyard really has a lot of variety. From architecturally diverse towns to pristine beaches to gorgeous farm-dotted countryside, a week on MV should include some time exploring all your options, unless of course you're intent on doing nothing but unwinding on a beach for seven days.
The Vineyard is comprised of six town, each with a very unique personality - so take a day to get to know each of the major down-island towns, two days to explore rural up-island and then hit the beach or a hiking trail and finish up with a day of adventure.
