Member Review of Lola's

I went to Martha's Vineyard with my husband, and 5 other friends and family. We stayed in a house near Katama Beach, and had a wonderful week. We had a reservation at Lola's our last night there. The night turned out terrible. We had a reservation, yet when we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, a waitress did not come over for another 30 minutes. I finally went up to the hostess, and she tried to help, but was unsuccessful. Finally a waitress came over, we ordered food and drinks at the same time. The drinks never came. When our food arrived, we were only given forks. They said that there were not any knives. So I was only able to eat half of my chicken salad because I couldn't cut the chicken. There was a band playing, which was great, however, we were furious at the service. When we finally found the manager, he was not very helpful or caring. I would recommend this place for drinks at the bar only, but I would not come here for dinner. When talking to other people that we had met, they seemed to have a similar experience. I mean, no knives? Come on... We were more than disappointed in Lola's.
