Martha's Vineyard: What's Going On

Hope in Bloom

Roberta Hershon

Hope in Bloom founder Roberta Hershon with Dorothy

Thanks to Donaroma's partnership with an organization that provides gardens for breast cancer patients, longtime Vineyarder Dorothy Underwood is now waking up each morning to enjoy an inspiring view from the kitchen window of her Oak Bluffs home. Dorothy received Hope in Bloom's first MV garden after applying to the Mass organization. She has named the transformed patch in her backyard "the Janice Garden" after Janice Donaroma, whose nursery donated thousands of dollars worth of blooms and lanscape design services. See Plum's PSA for Hope in Bloom.
