John Clese interviewed husband and wife architects Kenneth MacLean and Stephanie Mashek, who spoke about the various amenities and the layout of the building, and the energy saving aspects of construction that may make the Y eligible for a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating.
Then Tina Miller sat down with Donald Langely and Tony Lombardi from the Y's Teen Center to discuss the current programs, their outreach and what fun and exciting new things we can expect when the Teen Center moves to a much larger space in the new Y.
