Primed for the Primaries

Our Super Tuesday show came from the historic Whaling Church, where Edgartown residents will be casting their votes this year. Tina and John got the lowdown on the candidates and caught the excitement of the upcoming primaries with guests Rufus Peebles, President of the MV Democratic Council and Jim Powell, who once ran for State Senate on the Republican ticket.

Plum's been following the presidential race since last summer when Democratic hopefuls visited the island. We show an interview from August that Alex Friedman did with Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean and more recent Plum coverage from the New Hampshire primaries with Dan Honan.

Also, we show a clip from the recent Casino for Camp event, a fundraiser from the Oyster Bar for a camp for kids with HIV and AIDS.
