From Thimble Farm Tina and Guinevere hosted a veritable variety show. For starters, Tina sat down with Andrew Woodruff and Alice Early of Whipporwhill Farm, now located at Thimble Farm, who talked about the change of venue and their Community Supported Agriculture coop program.
Next up, Andrea Quigley and Pat Begley from Family Planning talked about their upcoming big fundraiser, the annual Memorial Day Art Show.
They brought along an interesting example from among the thousands of
artist offerings - gorgeous flowers crafted from condoms by Keren Tonnesen.
In the Adorable Animal block this week, Susan Gibbs showed off the newest arrival from her Vineyard Fiber Farm
- one week old baby goat Bay Leaf. Susan filled Guinevere in on her
yarn CSA which was recently featured on the front page of the Wall
Street Journal and has been attracting a lot of attention nationwide.
We closed the show with a musical performance by Bella and Dan Waters, who sang a samba song in Portuguese and English.
Next week we debut the MorningNoonandNight show for the season from the Black Dog Beach. We'll be live Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Summer's here already!
