The 2nd Annual Living Local Harvest Fest celebrated the island traditions of environmental awareness and living locally by bringing together the Vineyard Energy Project (VEP), Island Grown Initiative (IGI), Vineyard Conservation Society (VCS) and the MV Agricultural Society for two days of food, education and fun. We talked with IGI's Ali Berlow, VEP's Kate Warner and David McGlinchey, and VCS's Virginia Crowell Jones about the shared goal between them and how important it is for the next generation.

MVRHS football is back! Autumn just isn't the same without the Vineyarders taking to the gridiron for some good-old pigskin battles. Catch up, as the season is already officially underway. And stay tuned, because Plum TV will be airing MVRHS football games throughout the year, Monday-Friday from 7-9p.

For five weeks every year during the Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby the flood comes in — David Flood that is. He's the official videographer of the Derby and spends hours upon hours not only capturing the action of the Derby, but this special time on the island as well. David's film, "Feeding the Water," takes you through the journey that is the Derby and features interviews with a number of island luminaries. You can reel it in at stores all over the island.
